Russia’s Putin, Armenia’s Pashinyan have telephone conversation
During a telephone conversation, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the implementation of the tripartite agreements between Baku, Yerevan, and Moscow.
As the press service of the Kremlin informed, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, including steps to ensure security at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
In the press release of the Kremlin, it was noted that the telephone conversation took place on the initiative of the Armenian side.
"The aspects of the implementation of the entire complex of the well-known 2020-2022 agreements of the heads of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan were considered, including the steps to ensure stability and security on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, restore economic and transport ties in the region, and prepare a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
During the discussion of the current situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Vladimir Putin emphasized the need to resolve all the arising issues in a constructive way, with close communication and interaction of the parties with the Russian peacekeepers [in Nagorno-Karabakh]," the Kremlin press release added.
