Three Armenian servicemen test positive for COVID-19

A COVID-19 test conducted among three servicemen of the Armed Forces has revealed positive results, Tert.am reports.

Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan unveiled the information earlier today as he addressed the epidemiological situation in the military. He said the Armed Forces have initiated-large scale medical-preventive measures in an effort to contain the virus.

The minister said that all the three servicemen had contact with a primary source, reportedly a family member of one of them. They all were initially isolated, "essentially reducing the further spread of the disease."

Tonoyan said that all the servicemen are now in hospitalized, with their condition being estimated as satisfactory. None of them is known to have developed pneumonia.
