Baku collects humanitarian aid for earthquake victims in Turkey
A collection of humanitarian aid began for victims of the devastating earthquake in Turkey began in Baku in the Doğtaş furniture department store, on 27 Babek Avenue.
According to the Turkish embassy in Baku, there is a need for winter clothing, including jackets, trousers, gloves, and socks.
In addition, the victims need tents, mattresses, blankets, flashlights, generators, power banks, hygiene products.
These items can also be delivered or sent to the Consulate General of Turkey in Nakhchivan at the address: Heydar Aliyev Avenue, 17.
Meanwhile, a team of military medics from Azerbaijan arrived in Adana today. 60 doctors delivered medicines, equipment for operations and treatment of the victims.
Four hundred rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations went to the disaster zone, who are already carrying out rescue work.
Today, special flights from Baku to Turkey have delivered: a field hospital, tents, and other supplies for those left homeless.
