OSCE welcomes meeting of heads of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Brussels
The OSCE Chairmanship welcomes the meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan under the aegis of the President of the European Council, the Polish OSCE Chairmanship on Twitter said.
In its statement, the presidency also welcomes the "launching of the process toward the possible peace agreement."
"The CiO stands ready to assist in all efforts to ensure a stable and peaceful environment in the South Caucasus," the statement said.
The day before, a Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting was held in Brussels, mediated by European Council President Charles Michel. They agreed to establish a delimitation commission by the end of April, and the foreign ministers of both countries were instructed to start preparatory work on a peace treaty.
