Shooting continues in the Kalbajar area of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

As a result of the shelling of the positions of the Azerbaijani army from the Armenian Armed Forces in the Kelbajar region, an Azerbaijani soldier was killed, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported today.
On July 23, at about 16:00, the Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Kelbajar region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border from positions in the Basarkechar region.

Currently, the units of the Azerbaijani army located in this direction are carrying out retaliatory measures.
The Armenian side by similar provocations seeks to aggravate the situation on the state border of the two countries. Armenia bears full responsibility for the provocation, the report says.
