Negotiations with Azeri forces to continue tomorrow
No changes have been recorded in the situation created in Armenia’s Gegharkunik and Syunik provinces since the launch of negotiations on May 12 after the Azeri soldiers crossed Armenia's state border and advanced up to 3,5 kilometers into Armenia's sovereign territory.
The Armenian side today as well presented its clear demand to the representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces to leave the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia and return to their starting positions without any preconditions to avoid future escalation and unpredictable consequences.
As a result of discussions an arrangement has been achieved to continue the negotiations on May 16 at 2pm.
Yesterday Azeri soldiers left some parts of Armenia’s territory as a result of actions of Armenian subdivisions but some are still in the country’s territory.
