Putin explained to Pashinyan that he should not have offended “Iskander”

The Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Russia during a telephone conversation also discussed Pashinyan's statement regarding the use of “Iskander” missiles, press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia Mane Gevorgyan said in an interview with “Armenpress”.

“As a result of comparing the available facts and information, the Prime Minister of Armenia came to the conclusion that he had been reported incorrectly. Moreover, the statement of the Prime Minister has nothing to do with the content and quality of the Armenian-Russian allied relations in the field of military and military-industrial cooperation.

There is no doubt that Russian weapons are one of the best in the world. The Republic of Armenia continues close cooperation with the Russian Federation in the spheres of the military industry and high technologies and intends to take steps to further deepen it," Pashinyan's press secretary Mane Gevorgyan stated.

In turn, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that the Kremlin is satisfied with statements from Yerevan that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan concluded that he had been incorrectly reported on the “Iskander” issue.

On February 23, in an interview with 1in.am, Pashinyan stated that “Iskander” missiles were used by the Armenian Armed Forces in the Karabakh war, but they did not explode, or exploded by 10%.
