Pashinyan: most important thing for Armenia now is peace with Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in a televised address to the nation that maintaining peace with Azerbaijan will become a new priority of Yerevan's foreign policy.

"Today, an important goal is to preserve the achieved peace, to make it lasting, it would be much better if we can make it permanent," he stressed. "Today, an important task is to ensure stability and security around Armenia and Karabakh. And to achieve this, it is necessary to fulfill the agreements of November 9," the Prime Minister noted.

Pashinyan also said that there will be no new revolution in Armenia. "Some forces want to come to power through blood, as they always did, but they will not be able to achieve this. They will not be able to turn the people against the legitimate government," the prime minister expressed confidence.
