    Putin again discussed Nagorno-Karabakh with Pashinyan

    Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continued their telephone discussion of the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, the Kremlin press service reported.

    "Vladimir Putin expressed serious concern over the ongoing hostilities. The urgent need for the opposing sides to stop the fire and take measures to de-escalate the crisis was emphasized," the statement said.

    It is noted that the conversation took place on the initiative of the Armenian side.

    In recent days, this is already the second conversation between the President of the Russian Federation and the Prime Minister of Armenia. The previous one took place on Sunday, September 27th. Then in the conversation it was noted: "now it is important to make all the necessary efforts to prevent further escalation of the confrontation, and most importantly, it is necessary to stop military operations."

    For its part, the press service of the Armenian government reported that Pashinyan told Putin in detail about the situation on the line of contact in Karabakh.
